Information
TEDAVIR is a prescription antiretroviral medication primarily used to treat HIV-1 infection.
It is a single-tablet regimen that combines three active ingredients:
Dolutegravir (50 mg): An integrase inhibitor that prevents the virus from inserting its DNA into host cells.
Emtricitabine (200 mg): A nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NRTI).
Tenofovir Alafenamide (25 mg): A newer version of tenofovir (TAF) designed to be effective at lower doses with fewer side effects on bones and kidneys compared to older formulations.
The components are fully aligned with the World Health Organization (WHO) HIV treatment guidelines.
