The Government Pharmaceutical Organization

The Pharmaceutical Organization, a state-owned enterprise under the Thai Ministry of Public Health, was established on August 5, 1966, to manufacture drugs and medical supplies domestically, reducing reliance on imports and strengthening the pharmaceutical industry. It also conducts research on treatments for emerging diseases and educates the public on proper medication use and hygiene to promote overall public health. In addition to being a leading domestic manufacturer, we also export to numerous international markets, including West Africa, ASEAN countries, Hong Kong, Bhutan, Australia and others.
