FLOGEL® Flowable Gelatin Haemostatic Matrix

FLOGEL® Flowable Gelatin Haemostatic Matrix, is made from absorbable gelatin sponge, into a flowable form as off white (slight yellow) flowable haemostatic matrix prefilled in a syringe. It is used by applying to a bleeding that occurs in tight and irregular spaces especially at a difficult to reach site. It is used for platelet adhesion, accelerating platelet plug formation to aid in fibrin clot formation. Se utiliza aplicándola sobre hemorragias que se producen en espacios estrechos e irregulares, especialmente en zonas de difícil acceso. Favorece la adhesión plaquetaria, acelerando la formación del tapón plaquetario para facilitar la formación del coágulo de fibrina. Mantiene una viscosidad uniforme de principio a fin tras la mezcla con solución salina/trombina. Lista para usar en 30 segundos una vez que la solución salina estéril o la trombina estén disponibles en el campo estéril.
