StripAssays® are based on reverse hybridization of biotinylated PCR amplification products to wild-type and mutant-specific probes immobilized as an array of parallel lines on a membrane allowing detection of up to 48 alleles simultaneously. StripAssays® are a tool for the efficient and reliable diagnosis of inherited diseases, genetic predispositions, pharmacogenetics, and oncology.
