The Vivalytic Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI) Test is a comprehensive PCR-based panel designed to simultaneously detect 10 bacterial, viral, and protozoan pathogens associated with sexually transmitted infections. Using swab or urine samples (eNAT, Roche COBAS medium, or PBS), the test employs Randox Biochip Technology (end-point PCR) to deliver results in 2 hours and 20 minutes. It detects key STI-causing pathogens, including: - Bacterial infections: Chlamydia trachomatis (CT), Neisseria gonorrhoeae (NG), Haemophilus ducreyi (HD), Mycoplasma genitalium (MG), Mycoplasma hominis (MH), Ureaplasma urealyticum (UU), Treponema pallidum (Syphilis, TP) - Viral infections: Herpes simplex virus 1 (HSV-1), Herpes simplex virus 2 (HSV-2) - Protozoan infections: Trichomonas vaginalis (TV) This broadest cartridge-based STI panel provides a comprehensive sexual health profile, facilitating early detection, targeted treatment, and improved patient management.
