The Vivalytic Bordetella Test is a real-time PCR assay designed to detect Bordetella pertussis, Bordetella parapertussis, and Bordetella holmesii from a nasopharyngeal swab sample. It delivers results in just 47 minutes, enabling rapid and accurate diagnosis of pertussis (whooping cough) and other Bordetella-related infections. This test supports early detection and effective infection control, as Bordetella infections are highly transmissible via droplet infection.
