Bionit Inc. is a start-up company founded in May 2019 and a South Korean company specializing in medical device development. Bionit Inc. developed in-vitro diagnostic medical devices and automated medical devices. In particular, as an in-vitro diagnostic medical device, a liquid-based cytology system(LBC) called WellPrep was developed. WellPrep is brand new LBC system using sedimentation technology to automate the centrifugation pre-processing, holds many patents, and is recognized as a new health technology by the Korean government. Bionit Inc. was also selected as a promising small and medium-sized business by the government of the Republic of Korea. Bionit Inc. develops and sells various automated medical devices e.g. Decapper & Recapper for blood collection tube.
