Biosan was founded by scientists, Dr. Vasily Bankovsky (Ph.D., Molecular Biology) and Svetlana Bankovska (M.Sc., Biochemistry), remarkable visionaries from the Institute of Microbiology at the Latvian Academy of Sciences.
