Optimal Bag Design • Reinforced double layer at the bottom of the bag, coupled with wide, welded seams helping to increase effective bag strength and helping to prevent puncture or rupture of the bag at a critical time in the procedure. • Consistent diameter through the main body of the bag, increases effective capacity and facilitates easy capture of specimen tissues. Complete Introducer Hoop • Endo Pouch is introduced on a complete hoop, presenting the optimal aperture for specimen capture. • Strong, rigid design enables easy specimen capture. Simplified closure and removal mechanism • Simple withdrawal of the delivery system closes the aperture of the bag and simultaneously disconnects the bag from the hoop, capturing the specimen in the closed pouch. • The introducer and delivery system are withdrawn together – the closure suture is presented to the HCP through the working trocar – no additional steps, no cutting and removal of the attached ‘ring’ as with other designs.
