SPECIFICATIONS ArthroWire USP # 2 and USP # 5 sutures are constructed of a multi-strand, long chain ultra-high moleculer weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) core with a braided jacket of UHMWPE that gives ArthoWire sutures superior strenght, soft feel and abrasion resistance that is unequaled in orthopedic surgery. Suture breakage during knot tying is virtually eliminated, which is especially critical during arthroscopic and standart surgical procedures.
