MDL’s soft tissue biopsy devices are designed for the percutaneous collection of core tissue samples from organs and soft structures such as the liver, kidney, lung, breast, thyroid, and lymph nodes. Used extensively in radiology, oncology, and pathology departments, these automatic and semi-automatic systems—like Themy and LightCut Plus—allow for one-handed operation and are compatible with ultrasound and CT guidance to target lesions accurately while minimizing patient discomfort.
