Melanoma detection device
Oncology Equipment
Information
This device assesses pigmented skin lesions using EPR (Electron Paramagnetic Resonance), a highly sensitive method for detecting unpaired electrons. Melanin contains natural radicals, but their concentration—and the EPR signal—often increases significantly in melanoma. Because signal intensity rises proportionally to radical concentration, the measurement provides an objective parameter that can support earlier, more accurate differentiation between benign and malignant lesions.
