One type of modular head – the design includes a cap made of CoCrMo and an insert made of PEEK Optima Wear Performance. It is supplied in an assembled and sterile version (cap and insert, radiation sterilization). There are available two types of stem construction. Standard stem’s collar prevents from settling in the medullary canal. Short intramedullary section facilitates the implantation in narrow surgical field. Reconstructive stem (angular) is applied in case of more extensive injuries/resections. The transverse grooves in the intramedullary part of both stems stabilize the stem in the cement coat.
