ValvuloFlow® Valvuloplasty Balloon Catheter

ValvuloFlow® is an over-the-wire balloon catheter which utilizes an eight identical and parallel tubular balloon design to create a closely-packed hexagonal pattern and an open central lumen once fully inflated to the nominal rated pressure. This complex design has multiple purposes: (1) lt allows for continuous cardiac blood flow through the open central lumen; (2) lt lowers the hemodynamic resistance of the balloon once inflated; and (3) to reduce or eliminate intraventricular pressures and the elevated pacing effect of a full obstruction of the valve during a balloon-aortic-valvuloplasty(BAV)procedure. Our design has an effective catheter length of 130cm. Our connector consists of two lumens.one for balloon inflation/deflation and the other for guidewire insertion. Our balloons are equipped with two radiopaque tantalum marker bands to provide visual reference points, fluoroscopically. The balloon diameter ranges from 18.0mm to 28.0mm, and our balloon overall length ranges include: 35mm,40mm and 45mm for improved patient fit and function.
