Sumetzberger AntiVirus® – Certified Hygiene Solutions for Pneumatic Tube Systems in Hospitals

Sumetzberger AntiVirus® is a comprehensive hygiene solution designed specifically for pneumatic tube systems used in hospital environments. Integrated directly into the pneumatic tube network, AntiVirus® embeds certified antimicrobial and antiviral protection into the transport infrastructure, ensuring continuous hygiene throughout every transport cycle. The AntiVirus® program combines antimicrobial materials with advanced filtration and disinfection technologies to support the hygienic in-house transport of laboratory samples, medications, STAT shipments and other critical hospital goods. Carriers, station interiors and touch interfaces are manufactured using silver-ion enriched materials, tested according to ISO 22196 and ISO 21702, providing permanent protection against bacteria and viruses even under intensive daily use.
