PreFoam Enzyme

PreFoam Enzyme is Amity's NEW advanced generation enzymatic pre foam. This long-lasting, neutral, enzymatic pre-soak cleaner is used during transportation and temporary storage of soiled reusable medical devices. Combining gel and foam properties, it has been developed as a stable formulation which has been proven to start breaking down organic material faster than alternative products. Thanks to its unique stable foam profile, PreFoam Enzyme reduces the risk of cross contamination by encasing soil and bioburden in the gel-like solution that lasts up to 96 hours. The use of PreFoam Enzyme prevents the drying on of blood, debris and body fluids, reducing the formation of biofilm and thus speeding up the cleaning process. The inclusion of enzymes in the formulation increases speed and efficiency, immediately commencing the breakdown of blood and bioburden properties and in turn decreasing turnaround time. The formulation is effective on all types of protein and organic material and is suitable for use with a wide range of materials and medical devices, including sensitive instruments and endoscopes.
