HOSPITECH MANUFACTURING SERVICES SDN BHDNP2.B11Hospitech is an integrated medical devices provider specialising in the design, development, value-added manufacturing and distribution of medical devices. In addition, Hospitech is also an independent service provider of Ethylene Oxide (EtO) sterilization, primarily for medical devices.
Hospitech Marketing Sdn Bhd (HMKT) was established in 1985 as a distribution company of generic medical devices and critical care devices. During the early years, HMKT started only with a small range of medical products, focused primarily on generic medical devices. In anticipation of an increase in local demands for generic medical disposables devise, Hospitech Manufacturing Services Sdn Bhd (HMFG) was formed and became its manufacturing division in 1998. Subsequently, in 2000, HMFG commenced manufacturing of critical care medical devices.
In 2009 change of ownership by Private Equity which composed of Proventeus which hold 65% of share. Currently, 100% of share the ownership structure have been hold by Proventeus and there are 348 employees employed under medical division companies. On 2014, Hospitech Marketing Sdn Bhd (HMKT) have change its name to Aureumaex Medicare Marketing (M) Sdn Bhd (AMM).
Presently, Hospitech manufactures a large family of disposable medical devices which consist of generic and critical care medical devices under the HOSPITECHTM brand. Hospitech has an EtO sterilisation facility which is ISO 11135:2014 certified. This facility is supported by its fully automated in-house developed EtO Control System (ECS).
Hospitech has obtained its certifications for ISO 13485: 2016 from SGS United Kingdom Ltd Systems Services Certification (SGS UK) as well as CE mark for some of its medical devices.
