Vitaltec’s Closed Suction Systems are designed to deliver continuous, safe, and efficient secretion management for patients on mechanical ventilation. Without disconnecting the ventilator, they maintain positive end-expiratory pressure (PEEP) and reduce the risk of aspiration and ventilator-associated pneumonia (VAP). The portfolio includes Vital-Cath and C-Bona, both focused on infection control, usability, and patient safety.
Vital-Cath features a closed-circuit design with a soft catheter that’s gentle on airway mucosa. Its 360° rotating connector relieves circuit strain and improves mobility, while the ergonomic valve enables single-handed operation for bedside caregivers. C-Bona enhances maneuverability through a dual-swivel mechanism and includes an integrated irrigation port that allows in-line flushing without circuit disconnection. A transparent protective sleeve helps prevent secretion exposure, and the clear catheter ensures visual confirmation of suctioning.
Both systems are sterile, single-use, and available in configurations suitable for tracheostomy and endotracheal tube applications across adult, pediatric, and neonatal populations. These closed suction systems support continuous ventilation and cross-infection control, making them ideal for ICUs, long-term care, operating rooms, and high-risk infection scenarios.
