danumed® GastroTube - Gastrostomy Tube

The danumed® GastroTube is a percutaneous replacement tube designed for long-term enteral feeding. It features an apple-shaped internal retention balloon with high balloon stability, ensuring secure fixation, reliable sealing, and extended indwelling time. The danumed® GastroTube is available with ENFit® and Y-ENFit® connectors and in a wide range of sizes from 12 Fr to 24 Fr. The new optimized product design of the danumed® GastroTube significantly simplifies handling and enhances comfort for both patients and users. The innovative ENSwivel® rotating ring, integrated into all ENFit® and Y-ENFit® connectors, allows effortless connection and disconnection of ENFit® fittings. Even very tight connections can be released easily, while twisting of the tubing is completely avoided. In addition, the new 90° danuPlate, a soft external fixation plate, enables kink-free tube guidance with a 90-degree angulation. This design improves discretion by allowing the tube to be worn unobtrusively under clothing and offers an extremely simple and comfortable application. The new danuClip tube clamp, available optionally as a separate product, prevents backflow of feed or gastric contents and is practical, easy, and quick to use. Each danumed® GastroTube is supplied with practical accessories, including a packet of lubricant for easy insertion and a 10 ml balloon syringe for inflation of the retention balloon.
