PAHSCO Faecal collection system

The PAHSCO Faecal Collection System is designed to support safe, controlled, and hygienic management of faecal matter in patients requiring stool drainage and collection in clinical care settings. The system consists of a silicone catheter, a 60 mL Luer-lock syringe, collection bags with integrated cap and hanging straps, and a clamp, providing a complete solution for faecal collection and disposal. The catheter is a triple-lumen tube featuring a retention balloon (wrapped by an introducer) at the patient end and a dedicated connector adapted for secure attachment to the collection bag. The drainage structure includes: One main drainage lumen for faecal matter to pass directly into the collection bag Two side lumens, used respectively for irrigation and balloon inflation/deflation An optional sampling port for specimen collection when required All faecal effluent is collected directly into the bag, allowing it to be safely and easily disposed of in accordance with institutional protocols, reducing the risk of environmental contamination and exposure to healthcare professionals. When the collection bag reaches a designated volume, it can be replaced with a new bag while the used bag is discarded following hospital guidelines. The PAHSCO Faecal Collection System is provided in non-sterile condition and is intended for single-use only. Shelf life information should be referred to the used-by date indicated on the product label.
