Yuman’s Buddy is an autonomous care robot for hospital ward logistics and pharmacy automation—built specifically for busy, rapidly changing healthcare environments and designed together with clinicians. Buddy delivers procedure-packed supplies to patient rooms so nurses can stay with the patient, reduce interruptions, and improve the patient experience. Buddy also supports bedside documentation with EPR access and can replace traditional computers-on-wheels. For pharmacy workflows, Buddy provides safe autonomous transport of chemotherapy and other medications not suitable for PTS, supporting inpatient distribution across the hospital. Items are transported securely in locked drawers, and Buddy is designed with the highest level of safety to operate smoothly in hectic corridors without disrupting workflows. Buddy is a care robot that supports nurses by delivering procedure-packed medical equipment to patient rooms and enabling bedside EPR documentation for uninterrupted, quality care. Buddy also automates pharmacy transports that cannot be sent via PTS. Our main focus areas are: Autonomous medication logistics (not suitable for PTS), ensuring secure and efficient delivery from central stock and pharmacy to the point of care.
