The PREMOSYS NANOS+ is a globally unique color and spectral sensor chip that represents a genuine quantum leap in optoelectronics. It combines the advantages of high-resolution camera technology, classic XYZ color sensor chips, and spectrometers in a single system, thereby closing the technological gap between high color accuracy and high spatial resolution. A measuring area of just 16 mm² provides 1,600 color channels with a wavelength accuracy of 1 nm. Specific wavelengths are filtered directly on the sensor chip using plasmonic nanostructures, with optical filter structures smaller than the wavelengths of light. NANOS+ thus enables broadband and very finely scaled evaluation from VIS to NIR via analog outputs as well as I²C, SPI, and UART interfaces.
The combination of high spatial and color resolution and high processing speed allows for precise real-time color differentiation.
