The PREMOSYS C.E.B.R.A. UV-VIS-NIR spectrophotometer combines innovative technology with maximum reliability for demanding analyses. With a broad spectral range from 250 to 1100 nm and a resolution of 1.8 nm, C.E.B.R.A. is ideal for photometric, spectral, and kinetic measurements—from environmental analysis and food quality to complex life science applications. Thanks to the intuitive software, users can work flexibly from simple quotient calculations to extensive scans and biochemical reaction analyses.
C.E.B.R.A. impresses with its compact design, high sensitivity, and low stray light values, delivering precise, reproducible results. Typical areas of application include the quantification of DNA and RNA, biotechnological investigations such as cell viability, cell proliferation, cell and enzyme activity, and biomarker detection, for example in ELISA or metabolite analyses.
Powerful functions such as the SCAN method for complete spectrum acquisition, the QUANT method for creating calibration curves and determining concentrations, and the KINETICS method for measuring time-dependent changes in absorption or transmission make C.E.B.R.A. a versatile tool in the laboratory. With its USB 2.0 interface, integrated LED light source, and compact housing (180 × 160 × 107 mm, 0 to +50 °C), the system can be easily integrated into existing laboratory environments and offers a new dimension in spectral analysis.
