PINIT

PINIT – Portable Bladder Ultrasound Scanner (PBUS), is medical device dedicated for quick, accurate non-invasive bladder volume contents measurement, and also for basic exams and measurement of urinary organs and tracts. The specially designed ultrasound probe allows to scann the bladder in two orthogonal cross-sections and perform automatic bladder volume measurement (Auto mode). For what are called difficult cases or little filling of the bladder, the measurement may be performed in Manual mode semi-automatically by means of a point or continuous contour drawing. Additionally the PINIT has got possibility to estimate bladder volume using simple one-dimensional Quick Mode for beginner user – you can use also this method for an indicative assessment of whether the bladder capacity is large or small e.g to make the right decision about urinary catheterization.
