The Insufflation Veress needle is designed with a spring loaded tip to protect the patient from the damage of the sharp needle tip after the abdominal access is obtained prior to carbon dioxide gas insufflation. The standard Luer Lok connecter provides universal connection to all standard CO2 endo insufflators.
