The hemoclip is used for stanching bleeding of the digestive tract, mark and closure, for the purpose of mechanical pressure treatment of bleeding of small arteries and pulsation. The needle is used together with the endoscope to introduce a sclerosing agent, vasoconstrictor or saline to lesion tissue to control actual or potential bleeding lesions in the digestive tract.
