A high incidence of breast cancer in women results in numerous annual breast surgery procedures to remove malignant tumors. Failure to detect and remove cancerous lymph nodes (sentinel nodes) can lead to cancer spreading in the patient. There are currently several methods of varying accuracy for detecting sentinel nodes, with the Gamma Probe or Margin Probe being the most common and preferred device for surgeons due to its ease of use and ability to detect and localize sentinel lymph nodes in breast cancer and certain male cancers. The all-in-one version of the gamma probe is a fully mobile system, designed as a precise instrument that operates without cumbersome cables. This version combines the console and probe with a display, eliminating the need for a separate console. It supports Bluetooth connection, allowing users the flexibility to use its main display or connect it to a mobile device for multiple displays.
