Ferronova

Ferronova is a clinical trial stage company developing nanoparticles, surgical devices, and AI tools to improve the precision of cancer surgery. Most people know someone who has faced a cancer diagnosis, had treatment including surgery were told they are cancer free, only to find out later that ‘the cancer is back’. Ferronova’s vision is that cancer never returns after cancer surgery. With an initial focus on gastric and oesophageal cancers, Ferronova believes that accurate identification of high-risk lymph nodes can help guide radiotherapy and surgery and enable more targeted surgery and biopsies. The technology has been evaluated in three clinical trials at leading Australian hospitals, with planning for late-stage trials to support their first regulatory approvals in progress.
