Nauru Medical Centre (NMC) is the flagship national healthcare provider in the Republic of Nauru, delivering comprehensive clinical services across emergency care, inpatient and outpatient medicine, surgery, diagnostics, chronic disease management, maternity and child health, dialysis, and rehabilitation.

Established as part of a government-mandated healthcare transformation initiative, NMC integrates local care delivery with international clinical and operational best practices. The centre is focused on reducing the need for overseas treatment by expanding in-country capacity, adopting digital health solutions, strengthening workforce capabilities through specialist partnerships and coordinating Overseas Medical Referrals (OMR) in Nauru where highly specialised treatment is required.
