KOB is a leading manufacturer of special elastic textiles founded over 120 years ago in Wolfstein, Germany. Today, the company has another production site in Coimbatore, India, and sales offices worldwide.
The medical textiles are sold by leading brand suppliers under their own brands in over 60 countries around the world. KOB specialises in the development and production of bandages and fabrics.The bandages are used for support and relief in SportsMedicine & Orthopaedics, as fixation bandages in the field of Wound Care, and as compression bandages in Phlebology & Lymphology. The elastic carrier fabrics from KOB are used to manufacture first aid dressings, plaster strips and transdermal therapeutical systems.
KOB employs 1,200 people worldwide and is part of the HARTMANN GROUP.
