Lalan Middle East LLC part of Lalan Group Established in 2019 , the Lalan Group Established 1940 is among the largest diversified conglomerates in Sri Lanka, with over 46 subsidiaries engaged in plantations, manufacturing, logistics, printing and packaging, engineering services and hospitality.

Lalan Middle East FZC LLC has establishing a state-of-the-art Medical Glove , Packing Unit with ETO (Ethylene Oxide) sterilization and Microbiology lab in Sohar Freezone, Oman

This project aims to meet the growing demand for high-quality disposable medical gloves, ensuring compliance with international standards such as ISO 13485, FDA, GMP, and ASTM. The facility is designed to serve both local and global markets, delivering latex and nitrile gloves with highest quality standards.

The in-house ETO sterilization unit includes two semi-automated chambers, each with a capacity of 10.76m³, operating at a volume of 8m³ per cycle, with 100 cycles per month. This advanced sterilization process will not only serve the glove production but also provide sterilization services for other medical products.

The project also includes a comprehensive laboratory facility capable of performing microbiological tests such as bioburden level assessments and sterility testing to ensure that all products meet stringent quality control measures. This integrated approach positions Lalan Middle East as a key player in the region’s medical glove industry
