The Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, set up the Pharmaceuticals Export
Promotion Council of India (Pharmexcil) under Foreign Trade policy by issuing DGFT notification in
the year 2004, with its headquarters at Hyderabad, India.
Objective of Pharmexcil is to promote Exports of Pharmaceuticals & allied products to the world.

Assist members with Market Access Incentives (MAI) claims.
Coordinate business meetings and trade delegations both domestically and internationally.
