SAFETY SCALPEL WITH RETRACTABLE SHEATH

The KIATO patented disposable safety scalpel was introduced in 2003. That was early days when only a handful of companies offered a safety scalpel. In fact the market was still not decided about their preference – “Retractable Blade vs Retractable Sheath”. We went with the retractable sheath version which we see is now being offered by many other companies that initially went with the retractable blade version. Maybe they have realised the superior advantages of the retractable sheath concept.
