Genomes, Cells and AI: Unlocking Medicine's Toughest Questions

Genomes, Cells and AI: Unlocking Medicine's Toughest Questions

Wednesday, September 10, 2025 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM · 30 min. (Asia/Dubai)

Information

The frontier of genomics is shifting toward population-specific pangenomes, offering deeper insights into genetic diversity and disease relevance. At Dubai Health, we have implemented the Arab pangenome locally and are expanding this initiative to other global populations. To better understand disease variants, it is critical to map gene regulation across diverse cell types—where single-cell transcriptomics provides unprecedented resolution, even uncovering targets once considered untreatable. Finally, artificial intelligence (AI) is emerging as a foundational tool, enabling the integration of multi-omics and clinical data to drive precision medicine forward. In this talk, we will show how AI is now integrated within Dubai Health discovery labs and their recent outcomes.
