Founded in 1953, A.J.Costa (Irmãos), Lda. is an experienced manufacturer of disinfection and sterilization equipment for hospitals, laboratories and clinics. With a know-how of 72 years in the infection-control field, our brand AJC®, is present in several markets worldwide. A. J. Costa works with a common mission and a single purpose - deliver high-quality, safe and reliable disinfection and sterilization solutions to our clients and guarantee their total satisfaction.
In order to ensure a constant level of quality, AJC has developed a certified quality management system, which complies with the requirements of European standards, EN ISO 9001 and EN ISO 13485 and in compliance with the EU Medical Devices Regulation 2017/745, issued by the certification body SGS Belgium, and with the Pressure Equipment Directive PED 2014/68/EU, issued by SGS Portugal.All Equipment is manufactured and certified in accordance with the applicable European Standards.
A.J.Costa training academy organizes customized training sessions directed to service technicians or end-users. The training sessions can take place at our premises or at customers site.
The permanent monitoring of the market and the needs imposed by the continuous modernization of technology has launched a new work area, which is currently tested and implemented: documentation and traceability software.
