Minisono: The Next Generation of Portable Ultrasound
Ultrasound Machines
Information
The Minisono system replaces bulky, traditional carts with a streamlined, USB-connected transducer that transforms a Microsoft Surface™ tablet into a high-performance diagnostic tool. It is designed for "Point-of-Care" (POCUS)—bringing the technology to the patient’s bedside, rather than moving the patient to the machine.
Ultra-Portability: The entire system weighs less than a typical smartphone (approx. 160g–180g), making it easy to carry between clinic rooms, hospital wards, or emergency departments.
Simple "Plug-and-Play": Connects via USB to a Windows-based tablet. You can go from "Power On" to "Scanning" in seconds—perfect for time-sensitive emergencies.
Touch-Intuitive Interface: Uses familiar tablet gestures (pinch-to-zoom, swipe) combined with Alpinion’s simplified UI, drastically reducing the learning curve for new users.
High-Definition Imaging: Despite its size, it utilizes Alpinion’s high-end transducer technology to provide sharp 2D images and sensitive Doppler (blood flow) data.
Cloud & Connectivity: Being tablet-based, it easily connects to Wi-Fi for instant image sharing, DICOM cloud storage, and HIPAA-compliant data management.
