Information
The Zimmer Biomet Taperloc Complete™ Hip System is a highly regarded total hip arthroplasty implant (available in Cementless and Cemented option) that builds on the long-standing clinical success of the original Taperloc design to help surgeons restore hip biomechanics, stability, and function in primary hip replacement procedures.
It features a flat tapered wedge geometry and circumferential porous plasma-spray (PPS®) coating or Bonemaster as another option on the proximal stem to promote rotational stability and long-term biologic fixation with bone, while the titanium alloy (Ti-6AL-4V) construction supports stress transfer and durable performance. The system includes multiple stem options — such as standard, reduced distal, Microplasty®, and an XR 123° version — along with standard and high offset choices, enabling surgeons to better match patient anatomy and optimize leg length and soft-tissue tensioning. Design enhancements like polished anterior-posterior neck flats and optimized neck angles are intended to increase range of motion and reduce impingement, and compatibility with Zimmer Biomet’s preoperative digital planning tools helps support accurate surgical outcomes.
