Masimo SafetyNet is an innovative, economically scalable, cloud-based remote patient management and telehealth platform designed to extend care beyond the hospital to patients at home and in other non-traditional care settings—helping clinicians keep an eye on patients from afar while streamlining workflows. The system comprises three main components: 1) A range of easy-to-use continuous and spot-check peripheral devices, including tetherless Radius PPG® pulse oximetry and the Masimo W1® medical watch, that collect patient data at home with hospital-grade accuracy. 2) An intuitive patient smartphone app that seamlessly aggregates and displays data, with unique CarePrograms allowing clinicians to customize home-care treatment plans for postoperative recovery, chronic conditions, and more. 3) A centralized, web-based clinician portal that relays patient data, trends, and symptom reports back to the hospital via secure cloud, with notifications to help prioritize high-risk patients.
