SI-HERB Dressing

SI-HERB is a non-adherent lipido-colloid contact layer dressing designed to optimize wound healing by maintaining a moist wound environment. It consists of: • A polyester mesh impregnated with a lipido-colloid matrix composed of: • Hydrocolloid particles (e.g., sodium carboxymethylcellulose) • Lipid components (petrolatum and mineral oils) • Herbal active extracts (e.g., Centella asiatica, Aloe vera) for moisturizing and soothing effects. When in contact with wound exudate, the hydrocolloid particles swell and interact with the lipid components, forming a lipido-colloid gel that adheres gently to the wound bed without sticking to newly formed tissue.
