mecath Uniqath Double Lumen Catheter is available as a short-term hemodialysis catheter for adult usage. It is made of a soft radiopaque polyurethane material to increase patient comfort. The catheter has side holes with Smart groove design to protect them from sticking to the vessel wall during blood suction, Hemostatic valves to prevent blood leakage and to reduce the risk of infection, and a soft tapered tip to reduce the risk of injury increasing patient safety. The catheter has 2 fully rounded lumens without any connection nor clamps to prevent turbulence, leading to a higher flow rates.
